He describes the suffering and destruction of the Greek and Armenians and his own hiding ordeal for 515 days to escape extermination.
The author’s sorrow about the fate of so many of his fellow citizens is movingly expressed and is offset only by his years of determined effort to tell their tragi story to the world, and especially to his audiences in the United States.
